Take Risks or Swallow Regret

By Cory Miller
Sunday, November 15th, 2009

I recently reflected on all the numerous benefits I’ve received as a result of starting my first blog and wrote a post on WebDesign.com about it titled Taking the Risk of Blogging.

I’ve often thought that there are many more talented and more skilled people than me in my field and business.

But I think the difference in most people is initiative.

You can have all the great and wonderful ideas in the world … you can be the best and brightest at what you do … but if you don’t take a chance on your ideas and DO THEM, you’ll end up swallowing a ton of regret.

Personally, that’s been a great motivator for me. I don’t want to look back later on my life and feel the sting of regret or remorse for not taking action on any dreams.

Taking a chance or two on the dreams you cherish most isn’t really a gamble, is it?

You have one life to live … make it count!
