Spending my 5-Year Anniversary at the Dallas WordCamp

I have a great wife …

When I asked her if it was OK to spend the weekend of our five-year wedding anniversary at WordCamp in Dallas, she gave her consent. So Friday, we’ll be heading down to our first WordCamp and hopefully get to meet many of the people we’ve worked with over the last year of using and developing for WordPress.

Some of the people I’ve noticed that are going and look forward to meeting are people like Mark Ghosh and Lorelle … there are plenty of others too, including Matt M.

But one guy I’m FINALLY going to meet in person after working together for more than a year is Nathan Rice. We met online after he began reading and commenting on my first blog. (The one that started it all!) Then after I released my first theme, he released one himself and we started RockinThemes.com. Now, he’s our lead developer at iThemes. And although, we’ve worked closely together on dozens of projects, we’ve never met in person.

Anyway, if you’re going to be at the Dallas WordCamp (register here) and know me from this site and our others, please let me know if you’re going as I’d love to meet you.
