Here are three books I can’t wait to read ALL at once and wanted to share. I’ll likely have some notes, tweets and reviews later as they all are packed with great information:
Frientimacy: How to Deepen Friendships for Lifelong Health and Happiness by Shasta Nelson — one of the things I talk a lot about with the Iceberg is my Iceberg friendships. As I’ve hit mid-life, I’ve been focusing more and more on developing deep relationships with awesome people. It’s an area frankly I need to improve on. This lays out some great actionable advice.
- Captivate: The Science of Succeeding with People by Vanessa Van Edwards — who doesn’t want to be liked?! I do. I’m using this book to improve my skills in social settings and with people in general.
- Habits of a Happy Brain: Retrain Your Brain to Boost Your Serotonin, Dopamine, Oxytocin, & Endorphin Levels by Loretta Graziano Breuning — this looks to be one of THE most practically useful books I’ve read, with tons of lists and callouts for instant action. Hacking happiness here I come.
You can see my all-time reading list here for books I’ve read and love.
