One of the new big things I’m taking on at A2 Hosting is team comms for our 800+ team that’s growing every day.
“Communication is oxygen.”
So job no. 1 is keeping our team INFORMED in a fast paced environment. Connecting weekly with our leadership in our CEO and COO and next our key leaders/influencers across the org, in 13+ offices, to help flow of comms.
But next is CONNECTING ….. our team members to each other, to leadership, across departments and multiple time zones across the globe and to mission, vision and values.
“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” —African Proverb that I should have a tattoo of as it’s the core of my leadership ethos — GO FAR TOGETHER.
That’s my passion.
All of that formulate my own personal manifesto on work so I can start to translate it and support our team to see what we’re doing together, and be energized by seeing their important place in to Belong and Contribute.
My thesis is: When our team is connected to each other and where we’re going and energized by it to give their best, our customers will FEEL it.
All the work is better for it.
