I love WordPress if you can’t tell. We only do custom WordPress blog design.
So you know why I love it when I see big-time bloggers like MicroPersuasion’s Steve Rubel making the switch.
John Jantsch over at Duct Tape Marketing has already done it. And I talk with more and more TypePad bloggers wanting to make the switch.
With WordPress’ awesome import features, it’s really a snap to do.
Hi Corey, I’ve been thinking of doing this myself as we have a two blogs, one in WordPress and other other in Typepad. I know that WP has great import tools, but also I was told that we would have to reformat all posts, eg. bold, italics, etc. And even worse, since we put photos in all of our posts, we would have to import them again.
It’s something I have really wanted to do, but the task sounds rather daunting!
